Built by Nurses. Built for Nurses.
Map My Pay helps nurses see exactly what they’ll take home — after taxes, after rent — in over 21,000 U.S. cities. No guessing. No surprises. Just real numbers.
Our Story
Map My Pay was founded by Jason Nunez and Sumeet Kaur — both registered nurses at Kaiser Permanente — who kept asking the same question their colleagues couldn’t answer: “If I move to a new city, will I actually be better off?”
Salary numbers were easy to find. What wasn’t easy was understanding what those numbers actually meant after federal taxes, state taxes, and rent hit your bank account. A $120,000 nursing salary in San Francisco looks very different from the same salary in Phoenix.
So they built the tool they wished existed.
